What is Botox® (Botulinum Toxin)?
Botox® is an injectable treatment that uses botulinum toxin. This neurotoxin interrupts the communication between facial muscles and the nerves that tell them to contract. Without muscle contractions, your skin can relax and become smooth. Botox® is used to treat areas including horizontal forehead lines, vertical lines between the brows (glabellar lines), and crow’s feet.

We recommend avoiding exercise until several hours to a few days after treatment to prevent the botulinum toxin from moving out of place.
