What are Dermal Fillers?

Dermal fillers come in several different body-safe, non-reactive formulations. We offer the Juvederm® and Restylane® families of fillers as well as Radiesse® and Sculptra® for the greatest variety and most treatment options. All of these have uses in filling facial lines and wrinkles, restoring volume to areas such as the cheeks, or plumping areas like the lips.

How Do Dermal Fillers Work?

Each dermal filler uses its own formula. However, some have more in common than others. All excel in particular areas, so we offer all of them to have the right one for any need.

Juvederm®

The Juvederm® family of fillers contains products made of hyaluronic acid, a molecule that occurs naturally in the body, where it enhances the skin’s moisture content. Juvederm® fillers include Voluma, designed to restore lost volume to the cheeks, Vollure, targeted at nasolabial folds around the nose and mouth, and Volbella, a flexible and natural-looking lip filler.

Restylane®

The Restylane® family of fillers also contains hyaluronic acid, the world’s most popular dermal filler material. This family includes Refyne and Defyne, which target nasolabial folds and laugh lines, Silk, which acts as a smooth, plumping lip filler, and Lyft, which adds volume to the cheeks.

Dermal Fillers Consultations Available

Radiesse®

Instead of hyaluronic acid, Radiesse® uses calcium hydroxylapatite, a mineral found in bone. In its tiny spherical form, it works to fill in lines and wrinkles as well as enhance volume in the cheeks. It also has FDA approval for use on the hands to make them look softer and disguise the appearance of raised tendons or veins.

Sculptra®

Sculptra® is poly-L-lactic acid, which works differently from a typical filler. Instead of adding instant volume, it triggers the body to produce more collagen. Over several months, your skin will continue to produce new collagen that provides support, fullness, and a more youthful appearance.

How Much Do Dermal Fillers Cost?

Our dermal fillers vary widely in cost, and we will not know which one works best for your needs until we meet with you. Healthline reports that, on average, hyaluronic acid dermal fillers cost about $620, while the cost for poly-L-lactic acid fillers averages out at $773. Price will depend on your location and the skill of your injection specialist.

Am I a Good Candidate for Dermal Fillers?

With our variety of dermal fillers, you will almost certainly be a good candidate for one of them. Most people can receive dermal fillers safely since most of the materials occur naturally in the body already.
