Do you want to achieve brighter, smoother skin with long-lasting results? Microneedling triggers healing processes that dramatically improve your skin. This treatment also prepares the skin to absorb serums and other products, making it the ideal time to learn more about medical-grade skincare.

What is Microneedling?

Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a powerful method of skin rejuvenation. It can treat conditions ranging from hyperpigmentation to lines, wrinkles, and acne scars.

Tiny needles create microchannels in the skin, triggering your natural healing process. These microchannels also prepare your skin to receive maximum benefits from skincare products during the healing process.

How Does Microneedling Work?

During microneedling, a handheld device uses needles to create microchannels surrounded by healthy skin. The surrounding skin cells immediately initiate a process that brings healthy, vibrant cells to the surface.

Microneedling also signals cells deeper into the skin to produce more collagen and elastin. These proteins give your skin strength, support, and flexibility, but they decline with age. Restoring them can give your skin youthful resilience and firmness.

What to Do After Microneedling

Microneedling opens your skin to anything you put on it after treatment. We recommend avoiding any harsh or irritating products as your skin heals. We offer a range of medical-grade skincare products and will recommend options for you following your treatment. Using medical-grade skincare products can improve your microneedling results and help them last longer.

You might also consider PRP microneedling. This treatment uses platelet-rich plasma (PRP) extracted from a sample of your blood. When applied immediately after microneedling, it boosts healing and helps your skin look even brighter and more rejuvenated.

What Results Will I See With Microneedling?

We recommend a series of microneedling treatments to achieve your desired results, followed by maintenance sessions. Most people will have between three and six treatments spaced four to six weeks apart

This triggers maximum collagen production and cell turnover. You will need maintenance treatments every six months to a year to keep your results looking firm and youthful.

Is There Any Downtime With Microneedling?

You may notice some redness and sensitivity that looks and feels like a sunburn, and some people also experience minor swelling. These effects usually fade within a day. You can return to your usual activities after microneedling with no downtime.

Am I a Good Candidate for Microneedling?

Unlike energy-based treatments like lasers, microneedling is equally safe on all skin tones. Most people make good candidates for microneedling. Ideal candidates have reasonable expectations and want to achieve smoother, younger-looking skin. You might not be a good candidate if you are pregnant or have skin conditions like psoriasis.
