The cost of Sculptra® varies depending on your age and the type of procedure that you request. Initially, the FDA only approved Sculptra® cosmetic filler for the face. But over time, it became apparent that it could also augment and rejuvenate the appearance of multiple parts of the body. Now clinicians use it for hip augmentation, cellulite treatment, butt lifts, and the reduction of wrinkles on the elbows, chest, and knees.
The price of Sculptra®, therefore, isn’t fixed. It depends on the body area you want to target and the quantity of the filler you use in each treatment session.
What is Sculptra®?
Sculptra® is a type of cosmetic dermal filler – a unique chemical mixture that increases the plumpness and firmness of the skin. Unlike similar treatments on the market, Sculptra® is “stimulatory,” meaning that it actively encourages the skin to produce more rejuvenating collagen, tightening loose skin over time.
Clinicians at the Laser Skin Care Center use it to treat multiple areas of the face and body, making them appear more vibrant and youthful. Common target regions include nasolabial folds – or smile lines – that extend around the corners of the mouth, marionette lines that go from the corners of the mouth to the chin, hollows, and depressions (such as sunken cheeks), and cheek wrinkles. Sculptra®, as discussed above, can also target problem areas on the body and even augment muscle mass and definition on the glutes, thighs, pectorals, and triceps.
Average Sculptra® Costs
The average cost of Sculptra® depends heavily on the type of treatment that you require. Typically, medical doctors and assistants at the Laser Skin Care Center apply Sculptra® over several sessions, spaced four to six weeks apart. These gaps provide time for the therapy’s stimulatory effects to play out, increasing the amount of collagen in your dermis.
However, treating the buttocks will usually cost more because of the increased amount of the injectable you require. It is not uncommon for our clinicians to use five vials per butt cheek when performing a Sculptra® butt lift.

Sculptra® is ideal for anyone over the age of 18 and who has a healthy immune system. Please note that nobody has yet established the safety of Sculptra® for lactating, breastfeeding, or pregnant women.
