What to Expect from Your Appointment
Sclerotherapy is generally very quick and easy. Most sclerotherapy treatments can often be completed in just 15-30 minutes. All in all, you can expect to be in and out of your appointment within the hour.
Downtime is also very minimal with sclerotherapy. A compression garment or stockings will be recommended and should be worn throughout the recovery process. This minimizes any post-treatment swelling and bruising. Generally, you can return to most of your day-to-day activities immediately. Although you will be encouraged to do lots of walking, more strenuous activities like heavy workouts should be avoided for up to 2-weeks.
When Will I See Results?
