What is PRP?
PRP or Platelet Rich Plasma is a unique serum made from your own blood. PRP contains highly concentrated essential platelets, stem cells, and other growth factors stimulating hair growth. It is a simple, 3 step process that helps to maximize hair growth.

How Does PRP Treatment Work?
Before treatment begins, your practitioner will draw a blood sample to send to our lab for serum formulation.
We use the same advanced device for both microneedling and applying PRP. The handheld device creates tiny micro-channels in the scalp. Your PRP serum is applied topically to the scalp and absorbed in these micro-channels. PRP activates the inactive hair follicles and stimulates new hair growth.
There is minimal downtime with PRP treatment. You may see some bruising, swelling, or redness, but that generally subsides within 24 hours. Most patients need 4 treatment sessions to obtain desired results and then schedule maintenance treatments every 4-6 months.
What is Nutrafol?
Nutrafol is a hair growth supplement that is clinically tested and targets multiple causes of hair loss. Formulated with medical-grade botanicals, Nutrafol uses these combined botanicals to stop hair thinning and hair loss that can stem from aging, hormonal imbalances, stress, and more.
Men’s vs. Women’s Nutrafol
Men and women have different Nutrafol formulas that suit the body chemistry they are aligned with:
- Nutrafol for Men has a higher concentration of the ingredient Saw Palmetto, which blocks DHT. Men produce more DHT, a hormone that causes hair loss.
- Nutrafol for Women has stress adaptogens that strengthen their hair because women produce less DHT than men, Nutrafol for women targets stress-induced hair loss.
Regardless of the formula, we recommend taking four Nutrafol capsules once a day with a meal.
